Welcome to N.E.S. Strings!
On this website you will find the schedules, groups, latest news, announcements, and any information pertaining to Northfield Elementary Strings. Our program provides a joyful environment for students to collaborate and make beautiful music on the violin, viola, cello, and bass. We have had many wonderful activities to enhance our learning and music-making, such as a premiering a commissioned work composed especially for NES Strings, attending and performing in a multi-school string festival, providing music for various school assemblies, as well as small ensemble performance opportunities, such as providing music for a retirement reception. NES String students are encouraged to participate in numerous music activities offered through the county, namely the Elementary Solo & Ensemble Festival.
