Books:
NOT needed: wood cleaners or polishers for the instrument, peg dope (it is a product for tuning pegs, students do not need to own this product, this is for instructors and advanced players), mutes, soft cloth for polishing (not necessary, you may get one, but it is not necessary nor required)
Music folders will be provided by Dr. Nebesh.

- Basic Music Theory and History for Strings, Workbook I for respective instrument (violin, viola, cello) by Wendy Barden & Terry Shade, Neil A. Kjos Co. publisher
- Music stand (for home use)
- Violins & violas: shoulder rest
- Cellos: rock stop or anchor
- Rosin (dark rosin is preferred)
- Luggage tag or some way to mark instrument case with student’s full name
